My Project

Hello there! Thank you so much for viewing my classroom project. I am a first year teacher excited to set up my new classroom. In my student teaching placement, our classroom rug was the cornerstone for my coordinating teacher and I to develop classroom community, provide phonics instruction, have read alouds, math talks, and guide our class through socio-emotional conversations around complex topics, including self confidence, grief, and empathy.

In my classroom, I hope to continue this vision and utilize my new colorful rug as a collaborative space for my students to come together and see themselves and each other as capable meaning makers, innovators, and future leaders.

I would be incredibly grateful if you would consider donating to this project, which will have a long lasting impact on my future cohorts of students throughout my teaching career.
