My Project
A classroom rug is an important learning space in a classroom. The classroom rug is a space where children come to gather as a community to learn. Most of our learning will take place on the rug. Our class is in need of a new rug that is new, engaging, and clean.
When students come together on the rug, many skills are developed, stories are read and discussed, new skills are introduced and developed and social interactions take place.
Classroom rugs are the foundation of early learning environments. They establish dedicated learning times such as circle time, storytime, guided lessons, topic discussions, and social skills development. They guide the safe flow and movement in the classroom. Lastly, they help classrooms stay clean and organized, and soften the loud acoustics and hard surfaces.
