Exploring community is an integral part of UTK. We will use the materials to explore community helpers and possible futures. We will use the train cars to help add to the communities that they already build with blocks and train tracks.
Dramatic play helps students develop literacy skills, use their imagination, and explore emotions.
The materials will help students see themselves in different careers. We will also use the costumes to help retell some of the stories that we read in class. The materials will help encourage students to use language with each other and to write stories about themselves.
