Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are curious and enthusiastic learners who thrive with hands-on experiences. For our new social studies unit on community helpers, I am requesting costumes that will help my students connect with these important roles through imaginative play. These costumes will make it easier for my students to identify each helper and understand what they do in our community.
My goal is to create engaging and interactive learning opportunities where my students can connect with these topics in a meaningful way.
For our science unit focused on water, I’ve included tools like funnels, droppers, squirt bottles, thermometers, and safety goggles. These materials will allow my students to explore water through fun, hands-on experiments as they learn about temperature, movement, and how water changes as it interacts with different tools.
