My Project
I want to provide students with the opportunity to learn how to grow and produce their own food, all while making them change agents as they combat food desserts. A school-based community garden will not only feed our students and their families, but our community as well.
Access to fresh fruits and vegetables is critical to our health and development.
The materials we are asking for will help us start our initiative of a community garden. This initiative will provide students with real-world, hands-on experience that encourages healthy choices and self sufficiency.
