Community Comes to Kindergarten!

My students need a play kitchen, toy food, dolls, doll clothes, community helper costumes, and pretend cleaning materials to explore life as helpful community members!

My Students

My students are the hardest working little love bugs you could ever hope to meet! They are kindergartens in a large urban district facing issues that would make it difficult for most adults to succeed. Everyday they come to school with smiles and hugs ready to climb mountains!

These children are diverse learners with big hearts!

My students are exceptional learners, learning to speak english, or kind, patient, compassionate mentor students. My students work hard and play hard. They build each other up. They show me everyday what life is all about!

My Project

No kindergarten classroom is complete without a kitchen and dolls to allow boys and girls to practice being helpful members of a home community. Every home needs meals and tidying, and these pretend cooking and cleaning products will give my children a chance to practice these important life skills. Costumes would allow my students to pretend to be helpful members of a neighborhood community, as well.

Everything we need to know really is learned in kindergarten!

The most important lessons are about being community members. Learning to be a helpful and productive member of a community is something that will benefit my students for their entire lives!
