Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My low income first generation students are hard-working and high-achieving. They often complete the impossible by working 40 hours a week to contribute to their family while maintaining high academic standings in all honor classes.
This new resource center will provide my students with their necessary needs to be successful.
Most families struggle to put food on the table. A fridge and microwave will allow students to rehydrate and refuel. Shelves and shoe racks will be used to display necessary clothes. The items will bring needed relief to my students.
