My Project

My students are young learners who are diagnosed with Autism. My students struggle initiating social interactions, playing with peers, developing language, and expanding their interests. Our goal in our classroom is to help them learn these skills through interactive game play.

Turn taking games like Pop the Pig, Don't Wake Granny or Yeti Spaghetti will help them build these skills while also having fun!

The snack boxes, laminating sheets and velcro dots will also be used to build games where they can request their favorite snacks and small items.

Playing these games together will help them build social skills, develop language and new interests.
