This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is a Title I school located in Bushwick, Brooklyn with a large population of newly arrived students from Latin America.

Language translators will allow our students to overcome the language barrier and build positive relationships.

By funding our project, you will help our students feel connected, hopeful, and socially included.

These compact devices quickly translate between two languages in real-time. This offers our students and their families the ability to obtain information quickly and to respond clearly and correctly. The language translator helps boost confidence and comfort level by allowing students and families to be heard and understood.
