My Project
I teach at a title 1 school in Philadelphia. My class consists of 12 K-1 students on the autism spectrum. One of our main goals is teaching routines and independence. These items will help them with the morning routines as well as how to clean up after play time. These items will help them prepare for their academic career's.
This project will allow them to take ownership of their classroom and belongings.
Having appropriate personal and domestic maintenance skills as well as vocational skills are a requirement for our program. This project will also help with name recognition. My students are hard working and loveable and we appreciate any support we may receive.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
