Do you have a hard time paying attention when you are hot? My students are trying to learn in a classroom where air may or may not work each day. When you are hot and you can't hear the teacher a sound system would be very helpful.
My students are from Moore, Oklahoma and attend a Title 1 school.
They are great kids that just want to learn. Our school is very small, and most of the students attend from pre-k to 6th grade here. Several of our teacher even attended school here as children.
My Project
My classroom is like an oven all the time. I have two fans that are going all the time, but when I am teaching the fans must be turned off so that my students can hear. Due to the fans running all the time I believe the sound system would be a great addition to my classroom. I had a sound system in my classroom before the tornado, and I would just love to replace it.
Students cannot pay attention when they are hot.
I feel bad for them when I am trying to keep them on task and all they are thinking about is the sweat rolling down their faces. I know that a sound system will make it easier for them to hear over the fans.
