Comic Books for Kids!

Help me give my students a wide variety of comic books to read for our Comic Book Club.

My Project

Students have enrolled in my Comic Book Club. While I have some comic books for them to read, many of the comic books are over 30 years old. I want to have more recent titles that might interest a variety of boys and girls in sixth grade.

Students have expressed an interest in comics featuring Spiderman (Miles Morales), Black Panther, Batman, Captain Marvel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and The Teen Titans.

Many of these students love the movies featuring these heroes but aren't strong readers. Providing a selection of comics based on those movies will encourage them to read more, and with any luck, develop a love of reading!
