My Students

My students are respectful and appreciative. Most of our students get along well and strive to help others.

I am the librarian at our high school and see several grades of students daily.

I also teach College Study Lab during each class, every day. These students are in tenth through twelfth grade. Most of the class is spent catching up on college coursework, but there is downtime once in a while.

I have worked to make the library a welcoming place for all students and to offer quiet entertainment for differing interests. I also try to stay on top of readers' interests when purchasing library books. Many different types of readers can be found in our library.

My Project

The resources will help create a welcoming, warm environment where students feel relaxed to give them a place to socialize. These supplies will also help with the comfort and security of students so they will have a safe place to spend their break and study time during each school day.

The device charging stations will give students the opportunity to keep all of their devices charged and ready to use when they attend classes.

The beanbag chairs give students an isolated spot to rest or study when they need solitude.
