Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The comfy floor seats and snacks will create a flexible, supportive environment that helps students focus and engage. Many of my students find it easier to learn when they can choose their seating and enjoy a snack. These items will provide comfort and energy, fostering a positive classroom atmosphere. My goal is to offer a space where students can thrive academically and emotionally. Many come from poverty, single-parent homes, move often, or act as caregivers, but they thrive despite these challenges. They are curious, creative, and resilient, and with this project, I aim to nurture their growth and learning.
