it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students live in a low-income community with little to no resources. I am trying to make their classroom a comfortable environment so they cam learn easily.
My students are the best!
I have 25 ELL learners who are hard working and love being at school. Many of my students face struggles at home, including lack of support from parents. I try my best to make sure their classroom is a place they feel safe and motivated to learn.
My Project
What I would love to get is this comfy reading rug that students can sit or lay on during reading time. This can be used while I read wonderful stories to them, or when they are reading on their own, or reading to someone else! Our classroom is quite old, with very old furniture. I am trying to do the best I can with little resources to make our classroom an inviting, friendly place to be! I want students to love their classroom!!
This project is important because I want to offer things to my students that they don't get!
