My Project
My first graders are more engaged when using various manipulatives to discover the math. They come with a hesitation to participate organically in math which creates a barrier to learning. "Math is hard" is a myth this center will help to dismantle.
Math is the gateway to numerous opportunities which is why this Math Center is vital and can provide the foundational skills which are used every day.
This donation will bring math to life through fun, engaging activities. As a result, students naturally learn to have a passion for math.
