This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would like to provide my students with a large carpet where everyone will have their own bubble space. I love to have students learning on the carpet. I use carpet time right after lunch to give students a chance to relax. I will read books, practice spelling words, and do phonics activities. Students can also watch educational videos from the carpet. I believe that learning can occur in many places other than their desks. With a carpet that is divided into squares and I give each student their own seating area.
