My Project
I’m working to create a classroom environment where my students feel safe, focused, and empowered to learn in ways that work best for them. Flexible seating options like cushions, wobble stools, lap desks, and cozy floor chairs will give students the freedom to choose a space that supports their comfort, focus, and learning style. These tools will help reduce distractions, support students with attention needs, and promote independence and ownership in the classroom. When students feel physically comfortable and emotionally supported, their confidence and engagement grow—leading to better learning outcomes.
The goal of this project is to transform our traditional classroom into a more inviting, student-centered learning space.
I want to give my students the opportunity to move, stretch, and learn in a setting that supports both collaboration and quiet focus. By offering a variety of seating choices, I can meet diverse learning needs and foster a classroom culture where every student feels valued, respected, and ready to do their best work.
My students are bright, creative, and full of potential. They thrive when given choices and learn best in environments that make them feel seen and supported. Many of them face daily challenges outside of school, so it’s important that our classroom feels like a safe and calming place.
