My Project
My students love to get up and move. We work in various places around the classroom - at our desks, on the carpet, at group tables, and on the floor. Students love to lounge on the carpet or find a cozy spot to focus and write or read their novel studies. I have had camping chairs during the last few months, but their flimsy nature makes for frequent replacing. I have only had 2-3 camping chairs for alternative seating. Having 6 new floor chairs will help more of my students feel comfortable as they work on the floor for writing projects, reading novel studies and buddy reading.
