This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My kindergarteners are very energetic, happy kiddos that need to move around and feel they have some choice in their learning environment. I want to provide my students with a variety of spaces in our classroom that promote choice, comfort and accessibility.
These new flex spaces will be a wonderful addition to our wobble stools, yoga balls, bean bags and lap desks that are utilized & loved by the students.
The couch, moveable table and stools would allow students the opportunity to work collaboratively in comfort rather than sitting at your typical table and chairs setup.
Our classroom houses a variety of diverse learners that would benefit from flex spaces that allow their minds to learn and grow in the way that they feel the most comfortable. Thank you for helping my little learners!
