This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I've been teaching for four years and my reading corner is always my student's favorite spot in our classroom. However, after 4 years, this reading corner has seen better days. I hope to refresh the space with a new rug, an additional bookcase, and some new artwork.
A calm, cozy, comfy, corner in my classroom will give students an amazing spot to read.
Reading is a fundamental skill for all learning and I want my students to succeed, not only this year but for years to come. Readers become Leaders!
