I have a great bunch of kids. They are eager to learn and want to do the best that they can. We attend a public school in VA. I teach sweet kindergartners who are amazing, smart, and loving.
In our classroom, you will always find a diverse group of students.
There are students in our classroom who have a wide range of needs. Some are below level, on level, and above level in reading and in math. Having a wide range of understanding of the content makes it more difficult to reach each group, for each subject taught, on their level and with their learning style.
My Project
Where do you like to read a book? These five year olds love to curl up with a book and a pillow on our carpet. This carpet is a new, clean, comfy rug that the students would read on, do classwork with clipboards and also where we will gather for morning meeting and group learning times. This is one of the most important pieces of the classroom, a place to gather and learn and get to know each other. It is used often and will be danced on, stepped on, sat on and most importantly read on. It is important to have a durable rug that will last! We are also requesting seat spots so the students can know where their seat is during whole group learning time and comfy tree stools to add extra flexible seating for the classroom.
