My Students
Each child in my classroom has a very special place in my heart. They have come so far as readers and writers this school year. It is a pleasure each day teaching each one of them!
I teach the best group of third graders in the best school!
When the students are in my classroom, we focus on reading and writing. We love to read and write and it shows in our daily work. I try to provide the most literate environment possible.
My Project
To enhance the classroom library in my classroom I am hoping to add some beanbags, baskets and a display shelf that will encourage my students to read. Reading is the key to success! I want to make sure that I provide a classroom that empowers children to want to read and continue reading throughout the school year.
I will use these materials to create an inviting classroom library where students will be able to sit on beanbags, choose books by genre and level, and be able to check out books on display.
Reading is for life and a classroom library is a great way to create lifelong readers!
