This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am fortunate to teach a classroom full of curious, creative students, each with their own unique way of learning. To support their focus, comfort, and engagement, I want to transform our learning environment into a dynamic, student-centered space by introducing flexible seating options. This project will provide essential tools such as fidget bands, wiggle seats, and wobble stools, which allow subtle movement and active seating that help students improve posture, stay focused, and participate more fully in lessons. Soft seating will create cozy areas for reading and collaboration, while organizational tools will keep the space tidy and accessible for everyone.

Flexible seating empowers students with choice and movement, fostering a welcoming, inclusive classroom where every child can find the comfort they need to thrive.

This environment encourages collaboration, creativity, and independence, boosting student confidence and academic success. Your support will help me create a classroom that truly meets the diverse needs of my students and inspires them to be their best learners.
