it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love how curious, kind, and eager my students are every day. They bring so much energy and creativity into the classroom, and they thrive when they have choices in how they learn. A cozy couch will give them a comfortable, inviting spot to read, collaborate, or focus independently—helping them feel more at ease and ready to learn.
Flexible seating like this empowers students to take ownership of their learning and supports their different needs and personalities.
It also helps build a classroom environment that feels more like a community space than a traditional, rigid setup. When students feel comfortable, they’re more likely to stay engaged and motivated. This small change will have a big impact on both their learning and their love for school.
