Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Create a comfy corner in my classroom for students to work in a safe space where they feel special.
Imagine sitting in a place where you can relax with a laptop, in a comfy chair, to study, play, and unwind.
Every child needs the opportunity to have their own quiet place when needed. A classroom should provide that place where a child can choose to work independently. If they need some down time, they can listen to music or play on the computer with a colorful headset all their own.
Our classroom will benefit from having this comfy corner that will enhance a child's social and emotional growth. A safe learning environment is an essential part of the learning experience.
