This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students enjoy picking a good book to read! They like being able to pick an area in our classroom to just relax and read their book. When the students are working on an assignment they also like picking somewhere to sit to collaborate with their peers. I have noticed they are much more engaged and motivated when they find an area they feel comfortable in.
Providing my students with a comfy corner will give them another area where they can feel comfortable and engaged.
The products I have selected will help give my students comfortable seats where they can read an interesting book or work with others on an assignment. The beanbags will help those students who need a more comfortable seat to be able to stay on task.
