This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are a diverse group of learners whose verve and joy for learning make them the best students on the Lower East Side! Part of what makes the class environment great is the level of comforts we provide, such as fidgets, lap boards, and comfy seating to help students get into the learning groove. Alternative seating also means we can create a little social distancing in a tight classroom with around 25 students. Imagine reading and writing from a cozy nook seated on plush chairs surrounded by warm lights. Kids deserve that, too!
