This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With this project, I want to improve the physical space of my classroom to create a more comfortable environment that students look forward to learning in!

"Homey" items like a reading lamp, rug, and air conditioning fan for my in-class library will provide a pleasant reading corner for students to enjoy during their daily independent reading time.

In addition, markers and headphones are two of the most well-loved supplies by my students. Their literacy grows tremendously with every narrative art project they make and audiobook they listen to. It's essential I keep these supplies readily available to continue providing them the best academic experience.
