Comfy Classroom Seating: Get Comfy and Get Learning!
Help me give my students different types of chairs and seats so that they can find the best learning space for themselves!

My Project
Having comfortable and flexible seating options gives my 2nd-grade students the opportunity to choose where they learn! It's difficult for anyone to focus or learn if they don't feel comfortable. Allowing students to find the space that works best for them gives them a chance to make learning decisions on their own. Some students are more comfortable working independently on the floor and others prefer to work at tables or desks.
In my classroom, students make an important choice to work in the space that works for them!
With these new seating options, students will easily be able to grab what they need and move to their ideal space. Students who like the floor may choose bean bag chairs or floor cushions. Students who like desks and tables can safely and quickly grab a stool and move to their spot.
I think that adding these new seating options will give my students the opportunity to demonstrate responsibility and independence within the classroom!
