This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In Aftercare, our students get to unwind after a full day of reading, writing and listening. We understand the hard work that the students put in every day. The Aftercare team likes to bring variety to our afterschool program by implementing an age appropriate fun environment. The items we are requesting will add a comfortable quiet space to separate the fun environment if a rest space is needed. Keeping the class engaged and active while learning makes happy students, but making an available cozy corner will add to the children's comfort. We are asking for pillows and rugs to help create a comfortable and inviting space in our Aftercare classroom.
