Comfy and Cozy Classroom: Creating an Inclusive Space for All

Help me give my students supplies and materials to help them have a stronger connection to school with access to supplies and a comfy place to learn.

My Project

What I love most about my students is their incredible diversity, their sharp sense of humor, and the powerful stories they bring into the classroom every day. Whether I’m teaching high school English or supporting students in special education, it’s the connections I build with them that make this work so meaningful. I especially love watching reluctant readers get genuinely excited about a book—it’s such a rewarding transformation to witness. The donated items will make a huge difference: organizational materials such as paper trays and baskets will help students keep track of their work and supplies, reducing stress and lost items. Basic classroom supplies, like markers and pencils, will ensure that every student has what they need to succeed, and the bean bag chairs will create a cozy, welcoming space where students can feel comfortable and focus while reading. These contributions directly support my students' learning and growth in tangible, meaningful ways.
