This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Mental health and learning to regulate emotions is beneficial to student behavior, learning and a life long skill to be practiced. Our students learn different coping skills such as recognizing when they need a break, and then asking for and taking a break.
By donating to our project, you are providing a safe, calming space, designated in the classroom with comfortable, cozy seating which allows students to sit, reflect, and regulate their emotions and then transition back to learning.
The comfy beanbag chairs will allow our students to have a space that is warm, soothing and comfortable to help regulate emotions.
