My Students

My classroom is self-contained, and I teach in an urban area. Reading is very important, and I want to highlight the importance of it this year with this group of students. I do know that I will have a variety of students on different levels. I have a group of students that come from different backgrounds.

My Project

My students are limited to where they can sit in the classroom due to COVID. Sitting down all day can be very boring and hard for my energetic students. I believe by having these chairs in my classroom, my students will be able to participate more in the classroom. Due to my students being comfortable, they will be more focused on the content being taught - rather than trying to be comfortable.

Also, these chairs will help my students that move around a lot and are antsy.
