My Students

I teach 6th grade students on the at MMS in Brandon, FL.

Our school zoning results in a diverse mixture of students from all over the county.

I love the diverse backgrounds that help us blend together as one Viking family!

My 6th graders are navigating this year with curiosity and bravery- any support provided would be appreciated by us.

My Project

These materials will allow my classroom and students to be more comfortable.

These flexible seating cushions are amazing- because they allow all of my students to sit comfortably on the floor.

When we are writing and reading, flexible seating allows for choice. Choice is so powerful when it comes to learning, and the seating is an easy one to come by. These are also able to be wiped down, which will allow for safety during COVID times.

The voice amplifier will help students hear me and also help save my voice- when speaking for 6 class periods a day, it can be rough on the vocal cords!
