This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Having a small, calming colors rug will provide an ideal learning space for my first grade students. This rug will be used for my small group instruction routines during reading and mathematics. Also, my students will use the flash cards to learn basic Spanish vocabulary words and to reinforce their reading skills.
My first grade students will finally have a cozy and inviting area, where many foundational skills will be developed.
This small, calming colors rug will provide a welcoming environment for my students to learn, explore, collaborate and grow.
