Comfortable Seating for My Students!

Help me give my students options for comfortable seating around the classroom during the day, especially while they are reading independently.

My Students

My fifth grade ELA students love reading! If they could read all day, they would! The students are getting ready to graduate in June. They are so excited to go to Middle School!

My students enjoy reading books about middle school, horror, and friendship.

They love circling around the room to find a comfortable area to read. They sit on hard chairs that make them feel uncomfortable. Some of my students like to sit on the floor to read because they can not sit on their chairs. It would be great to find another option for them to sit and read comfortably.

My Project

I would like to request comfortable cushions for my students to use during the day for their seats.

Since my students love to read around the classroom, they will enjoy to have comfortable cushions on their seats to read their books.

Some of my students find the classroom chairs to be very uncomfortable and they would rather sit on the floor to read. I believe if they have special cushions, on their seats, they would feel so much more comfortable in their seats while reading independently.

They will be more relaxed and enjoy their independent reading books.
