Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My 1st grade students are full of excitement, enthusiasm, and energy! Each one of my students is different and yet they have a lot in common with each other. They all have their unique, individual personalities, and at the same time enjoy each other's company while they learn and grow together.

My students are determined to learn everything, grow as individuals, and explore the wonderful world around them.

No matter how energetic they are, they are always ready to learn new things and become extremely proud when they are able to reach or accomplish a goal! No matter how difficult something may seem, they always persevere!

My Project

The different flexible seating options will provide our students the opportunity to learn in a safe and comfortable space. Our students are young and still need movement throughout the day but for safety reasons are required to stay at their desk this year. The flexible seating in our project will provide them with the movement and comfort they need in order to stay focused to learn during our lessons.

My students will be more engaged in their learning which will help them be more successful throughout the year.

Not only will their learning continue without distractions, but they will also help us create a positive learning environment. Our students learn everything from letters, sounds to solving math problems, to life cycles and more! These flexible seating options will benefit them greatly because they will be allowed the movement they need while being focused and feeling confident in their learning. We will be helping our first graders become successful and prepared for next year!
