My Students

Hello! We are a 5th grade Co-Teaching team (regular education teacher and special education teacher) working with future leaders of our world.

Our classroom family is made up of bright and creative learners who strive to better the world around them.

My Project

We need your help suppling our classroom with comfortable, flexible seating options. We are both new teachers to 5th grade and have limited options in our classroom for comfortable, flexible seating. Our classroom is an inclusion classroom made up of a diverse group of students and needs. We service intervention/Special Ed students along side of regular education students. We are blessed with a new school with new furniture, however, the only seating available at this time are standard desk chairs. We want to provide our students with flexible seating options to help them succeed. By providing them with flexible seating options, we can provide our students with a more comfortable learning environment that will increase focus and student engagement. These options will also be used in our calm down area to provide a safe and comfy place to regulate behaviors and teach self regulation through growth mindset techniques.
