Comfortable Reading Seats / Brain Breaks

Help me give my students options to move around with flexible seating ! I’m hoping to give my students lots of room to wiggle around and not have to sit for long periods of time in their chairs.

My Project

I’ve got an energetic bunch this year ( who doesn’t? ). I’m hopping to add some flexible seating and wiggle options to my room to help my students focus. I’m a first year teacher hoping to add resources and tools to my room to make it the best environment for learning I can create. We’ve got some long blocks of ELA coming up this year and having some comfortable spots in the classroom for the kids to read their books is a goal I’d like to fulfill. Third and fourth graders will be getting into reading more advanced books, I’d love to have some bean bag chairs so when they earn some free time they choose to grab a book and get comfortable!

I’ve also been trying to find the best set of brain breaks / wiggle break ideas from TPT to help with classroom focus for my big groups of students with a TPT gift card.

I have a cart full of classroom management tools I’d love to purchase from veteran teachers to help me calm the potential chaos of the classroom.
