My Project
These comfortable pillows will help create individual reading nooks for students to enjoy a good book or write in their journals. My classroom is a place that my students really enjoy reading and writing especially during their independent time. Students will be able to relax in their own area as they become engaged in an amazing book or write about their dreams in their journals.
With these new seating pads, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently or with a partner on padded seating.
Not only will they be able to choose books that interest them, but they will be able to choose a reading nook mat which creates even more engagement. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more and being comfortable while doing it helps my students grow stronger in reading. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences.
