Comfortable & Organized - How Classroom Learning Tools Should Be!
Help me give my students comfortable and distraction-free listening & recording, and effective storage & easy access to their chromebooks that are now stored in our classroom.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Hello! For years, my students have requested (and quite justifiably) "non-horrible" headphones to use with their Chromebooks as they practice skills and record their reading. You know, the kind that don't give you a headache and actually direct sound toward the ears! And, unfortunately, the kind that are out of reach for a teacher to buy on her own. This is the year to do something about it. Will you help me? Additionally, I would love support with an easy and organized system for students to access their Chromebooks and keep them charged and ready to go.
I'd love for my students to have MORE uninterrupted learning time and LESS time distracted by uncomfortable headphones & LESS time wasted on getting out and putting away their Chromebooks!
Now that Chromebooks are kept in the classroom, my students need an easy way to access and charge their chromebooks that doesn't involve them trying to get theirs out from under a pile of other chromebooks stacked on the counter!
Not to mention the tangle of 25 charging cords with blocks, thus the request for bins for cord management and the cord labels for students to easily identify their cord when charging. These upgrades will impact the students in my class for years to come.
