This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Pre-kindergarten is one of the most amazing times of a child's life. It is a time for exploration and creativity. My students are full of amazing ideas and the desire to learn.
Students in this community come from low-income families; many families go without the necessities.
I love that even with the needs they face, they are strong and full of capabilities, full of life, and full of ideas. I would like for my students to get all the materials they need in our classroom to provide a hands-on and engaging learning environment.
My Project
In a classroom with nothing. But five years, our biggest task is to help them focus during their learning. Using flexible seating will give students who have a harder time sitting still an opportunity to be themselves and learn how they feel comfortable learning. These flexible seating materials
will help during our whole group lesson, guided reading, and throughout the day as we learn all the wonderful things kindergarten has to offer.
My wonderful students will learn comfy, be the best they can, and return to a normal school year.
