Help me give my students a warm and inviting learning environment by adding a meeting area rug, a half-moon meeting table, chairs for our cozy reading corner, and some fresh new bulletin board backing paper.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are a first grade ICT in a Title 1 school in a low income neighborhood. Unfortunately, we do not have extra money in our school's budget to help make the classroom feel like a warm, fun, and exciting learning environment.
All kids deserve a warm, inviting learning environment.
We can achieve this by adding dedicated spaces for independent reading with a new area rug, small group instruction at a half-moon table, and neat clean bulletin boards with new bulletin board paper.
Our goal is to create a space children not only feel comfortable in, but look forward to coming to each day.
