My Students
My students are 18 very active and curious learners. We are about at the half way point of the year and I am so proud of all the effort and progress these students have made. I am enjoying my first year teaching in this neighborhood.
I would like to provide my students with the best possible materials that are safe and suitable for their needs.
We do get a budget in the beginning of the year, but at this time, those funds are exhausted and have been used on other materials or books.
My Project
Rest time is part of each Pre Kindergarten student's schedule. We need to make sure the materials we use are suitable and sanitary for our students. The mats that were in my classroom were used by prior classes. It seems that all of them are splitting at the same time.
These new rest mats will be easier to store, clean and will be more sanitary because there is no open seams exposing the foam inside.
The students have a full and busy day. They need to rest comfortably in the middle of the day to prepare them for the afternoon.
