My Project
My classroom is unique, and I teach a life skills class. Each of my students is gifted in their own beautiful ways. My students have learning difficulties, but they are amazing, incredible learners.
Our classroom is set up differently than most classrooms to better meet the needs of our students.
Our students thrive when we can offer activities that have been printed in color ink, as it is more vibrant to the students. We also laminate these items to make them durable for repeated use. The ink and laminate sheets would provide us the opportunity to do this for our students. The Velcro dots allow us to create activities where our students can sort, match and identify shapes, numbers, colors, letters and sight words. The mounting tape would be amazing for us to be able to put up and display classroom posters and decoration as well as student work. Many of our students are still wearing pull-ups, and sometimes we run out before parents are able to supply more. Having a classroom supply would help really help out our classroom.
