Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have been working in education for about 3 years but this is the first year that I am a classroom teacher. I'm very excited to have my own classroom.

In our school, my students have no access to windows and the lights in the room are very bright and uncomfortable so lights will significantly help the atmosphere feel like a comfortable learning space.

Salt lamps and soft light will really bring the mood up.

I am also requesting a reading corner materials where I can station interesting books on a shelf, and a chair, where students can relax and read during our quiet time in the classroom.

Also, it gets very got since we have no access to windows so putting an extra fan in would be wonderful.
