Help me give my students flexible seating during center time! The Mobile Utility Cart would allow my students to take ownership and foster independence during small groups.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My kindergarteners love learning, especially when they are comfortable and in control! Having flexible seating would allow my students to feel comfortable sharing, singing, reading, and doing so much more!
My students come from many different countries, and making sure they understand what to do is a top priority.
With language barriers and first-day-of-school jitters, some students might not feel comfortable right away. However, having a welcoming classroom with flexible seating would allow my students to feel at ease and learn comfortably. In addition, the Mobile Utility Cart would allow them to take control of their small group routines. With materials within their reach, I hope to make it easier for my students to feel comfortable in my classroom. Having the flexible seating and cart would make my students feel empowered and ready to learn!
