Comfortable and Flexible Seating Options for Students

My Project
I am requesting a large rug, a few wobble stools and a couple of floor chairs for my new classroom. The floors in this classroom are laminate and there is no comfortable option for sitting on the floor for partner work, independent reading or a teacher read aloud.
My goal is to provide an engaging, welcoming and comfortable learning environment for my fourth grade students.
The carpet will provide us a space to come together as a community for read aloud time, mini lessons or even for students to come and complete partner or small group work. The wobble stools will allow students that need to wiggle a bit while they learn do so. The floor chairs will provide a special seating option that can be used in a rotation or as a reward.
My students come from families with little means in the small rural town of Hartville, Missouri. I am a new teacher at this school, who has been hired only a couple of weeks before school is starting. I am returning to teaching after an eight year break and do not have the means to provide these items for them.
