Comfortable and Cozy Reading

Help me give my students the adequate and comfortable reading seats to motivate and inspire them. Asian American month is coming soon and we will read a book by Kao Kalia Yang, an authentic author to inspire them.

My Project

My third graders are very curious and motivated to grow and build their reading skills. It's essential to create and respect the diversity of students.

I have about 3/4 of my students are Hmong students.

They get really excited and full of curiosity learning about what their own culture. Asian American month is coming in April. Informing that there is a well known Hmong author that lives near our community would be awesome and intriguing. Having them read and listen to her story is going to be authentic learning experience.

We have a reading corner that needs to be furnished with comfortable and cozy seatings. Having floor seats and balance ball seats will create a cozy and safe place for students to read and will bring them the comfort of a home.
